Projects

Havuts Tar Monastery

HPF aims to restore the historic Havuts Tar monastery, located in the Khosrov forest reserve near Garni village. Founded in 426 by Catholicos Sahak Parthev and Saint Mesrop Mashtots, this site is an under-researched part of Armenian history.

HPF R&D center

HPF R&D center will serve as the epicenter and home for all the HPF-related projects. A site has been secured across the Havuts Tar Monastery in the village of Goght, Armenia. This center is strategically located between the Garni Temple and the Geghard Monastery.

Grant Calls

The History Protection Foundation grants will support those who are experienced and trained in AI, and can aid in research that focuses on AI in the age of information and technology as it pertains to the falsification of historical facts. The purpose of the grant is to research how AI is documenting and rewriting history in the current age.

Historian Expert:

The History Protection Foundation seeks proposals from historians specializing in Armenian monastic traditions and architecture for a detailed study of the Havuts Tar Monastery near Garni Temple in Goght, Armenia. The grant is intended to enhance knowledge about the monastery's history, architectural development, and its significance in Armenian heritage.

Architect/Restoration Expert:

We are calling for proposals from architects skilled in historical restoration and conservation for the revitalization of the Havuts Tar monastery in Armenia. The project aims to rejuvenate this important cultural and religious site, maintaining its historical and architectural essence and determining ways to preserve and/or renovate it.
